Kia Seltos, Carens, and Sonet Prices Increased: What You Need to Know

Kia India has hiked the prices of select models in its lineup. The new prices are applicable as of July 2024.

Additionally, the Sonet and Seltos X Lines are now available in Aurora Black exterior colors.

Kia Seltos

Kia India has revised the prices of its most popular SUV, the Kia Seltos, which has received a price hike of Rs. 19,000 this month, the Seltos is now available at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs. 10.90 lakh.

The revised prices of the Seltos range from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 20.37 lakh. The base-spec petrol has remained unaffected by the recent price correction.

Recently, the Korean automaker introduced the higher-spec GTX variant of the Kia Seltos.

The Seltos is available in the following variants: HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+ (S), GTX+, X-Line(S) and X-Line, The Kia Seltos competes with SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, VW Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq.

Kia Carens

Kia’s popular MPV, the Carens, is now expensive by up to Rs. 27,000. The Kia Carens price starts at 10.52 lakh to Rs 19.94 lakh (ex-showroom).

Moreover, the base-spec variant remains unaffected by the recent price hike.

The Kia Carens is available in nine variants, namely, Premium, Premium (O), Prestige, Prestige (O), Prestige+, Prestige+ (O), Luxury, Luxury Plus, and X-Line.

The Carens has received a price hike ranging from Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 27,000.

The Kia Carens competes with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Rumion, and XL6.

Kia Sonet

The Kia Sonet prices have been hiked by up to Rs. 27,000. The Sonet now ranges between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 15.77 lakh (ex-showroom).

Kia India recently updated the Seltos’ lineup by introducing a new color scheme and a GTX variant.

The Prices for the base-spec HTE variants across all engine options remain unchanged. The base variant starts at Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), and the price of the Sonet HTE (O) Petrol 1.2 MT is up by Rs. 9,900, while the HTK Petrol 1.2 MT is dearer by Rs. 1,000 more.

The 1.5-liter diesel engine with a manual gearbox has received the most hike of Rs 27,000.

The Sonet is available in nine variants, namely HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+, and the X line.

All the variants, apart from the HTX+ 1.0 Turbo Petrol iMT and GTX+ 1.0 Turbo Petrol DCT, have witnessed a price hike between Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 17,000.
