Kia India has introduced a new mid-spec GTX variant line-up for the Seltos and Sonet ranges in the country.
The GTX variant sits between HTX+ and GTX+ trims for the Sonet and HTX+ and GTX+(S) for the Seltos.
Kia has also introduced the top-end X-Line variant with a new color option.
The Kia Sonet GTX variant is priced at Rs. 13.71 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes equipped with electrically adjustable driver seat, cooled front seats, an air purifier, and a 360-degree camera with a blind spot monitor.
The Sonet GTX trim is offered in seven color options: Sparkling Silver, Pewter Olive, Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Intense Red, Imperial Blue, and Glacier White Pearl. The X-Line variant, which was offered only in matte graphite color now gets an Aurora Black pearl option.
The major competitors of KIA Sonet are Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Maruti Fronx, Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor, and the upcoming Skoda sub-4m SUV.
The Seltos GTX trim It is offered in two trims, namely 1.5-liter turbo-petrol DCT and 1.5-liter diesel, both priced at Rs. 19 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, ADAS technology, and dual-zone climate control, and cooled front seats.
The color options for the KIA Seltos include the new Aurora Black Pearl, Pewter Olive, and Glacier White Pearl, Intense Red, Gravity Grey, Sparkling Silver, and Imperial Blue.
The Kia Seltos rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Honda Elevate, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Citroen C3 Aircross, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
