Mahindra has launched the new Thar Roxx in 6 broad variants – MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L and AX7L.
Currently, deliveries are limited to the AX5, AX7L, and MX5 variants, with most being manual transmissions. Customers with these bookings can expect their vehicles sometime between late-2024 and early-2025.
Meanwhile, customers who are now booking the Thar Roxx are getting delivery dates in 2026, which is a long duration.
Furthermore, only AX5, AX7L and MX5 variants have been delivered so far, with most being manual gearbox-equipped units. Some buyers have been getting a tentative delivery timeline of late-2024 to early 2025 for these variants. Customers who have opted for the Thar Roxx 4WD with the ivory interior have also received a tentative delivery timeline of early to mid-2025, at the latest.
Despite the extended wait, the Thar Roxx remains a desirable option in the off-roader segment, with the Indian automaker aiming to meet this demand while navigating production constraints and managing customer expectations.
