The XEV 9e is an electric SUV coupe measuring 4,790 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,690 mm in height, and its wheelbase is 2,775 mm. The EV has a ground clearance of 207 mm and has a 665-liter boot as well as a 150-liter frunk.
The interior of the 2024 Mahindra XEV 9e comes equipped with a new two-spoke multifunction flat-bottom steering wheel; additionally, it comes with amenities such as integrated three 12.3-inch displays (digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen, and a passenger-side display), multi-zone automatic AC, ventilated and powered front seats, and a wireless phone charger. It also gets a 1400 W 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and an augmented reality-based heads-up display.
Mahindra XEV 9e is available in 6 different colours – Everest White, Desert Myst, Stealth Black, Nebula Blue, Tango Red and Deep Forest.
The XEV 9e comes with a 3-in-1 powertrain (motor + inverter + transmission), with the motor delivering a maximum of 210kW and 380Nm in its highest spec. While the XEV 9e can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 6.8 seconds, the BE 6e does marginally better at 6.7 seconds.
