The fourth-gen Carnival received a facelift in November last year globally and is now headed to India.
The India-spec Kia Carnival resembles the international-spec and will be imported as a CBU. It will be offered in two variants – Limousine and Limousine Plus.
2024 Kia Carnival: Exterior
The 2024 Carnival gets an all-LED setup and a bolder design than the second-gen model that was on sale in India. The MPV maintains its signature power-sliding doors. On the design front, the new Carnival gets a wide grille with vertically stacked LED headlamps and L-shaped LED DRLs. Meanwhile, the rear features L-shaped LED taillamps connected by an LED light bar.
2024 Kia Carnival: Interior and Features
Kia’s three-row premium MPV is equipped with captain seats in second-row features, while the third-row includes a bench seat. Key features include dual 12.3-inch displays, dual sunroofs, and heated and ventilated first- and second-row seats.
2024 Kia Carnival: Safety
The safety net includes 8 airbags and a Level-2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) with 23 autonomous features. The MPV maintains its signature power-sliding doors.
2024 Kia Carnival: Price expectations
The new Carnival is expected to be priced over Rs 50 lakh. Local assembly is expected to begin a little later, which will likely bring its price down.
2024 Kia Carnival: Seating specifications
The new Carnival will be available with a 7-seat (2+2+3) setup only at launch. The second row will feature captain seats, while the third row will be a bench-type unit. The Limousine variant offers manual sliding and reclining functions for the second-row seats, while the Limousine Plus gets heating and ventilation functions along with electric adjustment.
