Vietnamese EV maker VinFast plans to launch the VF e34. The electric crossover has been spied testing in the country. The VF e34 will share its styling with the foreign-spec version. VinFast has declared its intention to set up its initial plant in Tamil Nadu by the beginning of 2024.
It is expected to launch in the first half of 2025.
Exterior
The spied mule had the same design bits as the global-spec model, which includes a slim pair of LED daytime running lamps, ORVMs have cameras, indicating the presence of 360° surround view and blind spot monitoring. On the sides, the VF e34 features plastic body cladding, chrome window garnish, and a set of alloy wheels.
The dimensions of the midsize SUV are the same as those of the Creta EV: 4,300 mm long, 1,768 mm wide, and 1,615 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,611,0 mm, 180 mm of ground clearance, and a trunk capacity of 290 liters.
Powertrain
It is powered by a 41.9 kWh LFP battery pack, with a claimed range of 318 km and a 0-100 kmph time of under nine seconds. With a fast charger, the Vinfast VF e34’s battery can be charged from 10-70 percent in 27 minutes.
