Porsche Launches 2024 Taycan Facelift in India, Priced from Rs.1.89 Cr

German automaker Porsche recently introduced a revamped version of its electric sedan, the Taycan, in India, has prices starting at ₹1.89 crore (ex-showroom).

The new Taycan gets cosmetic upgrades, and cosmetic upgrades and additional features produce more power, range-redesigned bumpers, aero-optimized wheels, and software updates for the digital driver’s display and infotainment unit, and some electrical updates. The electric sedan will be offered in two variants: 4S and Turbo, which cost Rs 1.89 crore and Rs 2.53 crore (ex-showroom), respectively.

Interior

The 2024 Taycan Facelift offers the same cabin layout as before. The signature three-spoke steering wheel now includes a control lever on the left for various ADAS features.

It continues to get a 10.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 16.8-inch fully digital driver’s display and also the passenger’s display, which is optional. 
The infotainment system gets a new user interface, and the digital cluster gets a new theme and additional functionality.
Other features include a 3-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting, powered front seats, a head-up display, 4-zone climate control, and ADAS.
Powertrain

The Taycan facelift features a new 800V architecture, making both models more powerful and faster.

The Taycan now supports fast charging up to 320 kW, a 50 kW boost over the outgoing model.

The 2024 Porsche Taycan 4S produces up to 544 hp and 695 Nm of torque, with a range between 474 km and 557 km. Meanwhile, the Turbo variant offers up to 884 hp and 890 Nm of torque, with a range of 557 km to 630 km.

Buyers can choose between a rear-wheel drive setup and an all-wheel drive configuration, depending on the variant. The Turbo model can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds.

Exterior

At the front, the new Taycan sports redesigned LED headlamps, reshaped air vents, and a redesigned bumper. The sleek strip of LED light still runs across the Taycan’s rear, which features a light strip with a three-dimensional, glass-look design, with a new 3D Porsche logo with an illuminated option and dynamic welcome and departure animations.

The 4S II offers 19-inch aero-optimized wheels, while the Turbo II gets 20-inch aero wheels.
