Kia Seltos and Sonet Get Upgraded with New Features and Variants

Kia India has introduced five new variants in its Seltos and Sonet; both cars now have 21 and 22 variants, with the addition of 4 GTX variants in Petrol DCT and Diesel AT powertrain and transmission options. The updated models now offer more choices and advanced features.

Interestingly, for the first time, a Kia Sonet with a turbo-petrol engine will be offered under 10 lakhs.

Myung-sik Sohn, the Chief Sales Officer at Kia India, stated, “Constant evolution and customer centricity have been the key to Kia’s success in India. The product enhancements are part of the same strategy, offering our customers the latest technology, features, and best value for the money they spend.”

Kia Seltos

The new GTX variant now offers important features from the higher variants, which are not found in the HTX trim. The GTX+ and X-Line variants now include UV-cut glass and white callipers. Moreover the X-Line variants now get a new exterior color called Aurora Black Pearl.

Kia Seltos GTX Variant:

Solar Glass
White calipers (front and rear)
Ventilated seats
ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems)
360-degree camera
Sliding center armrest
Smartstream G1.5 TGDi (Turbo Petrol) with 7DCT

Kia Seltos X-Line:

Aurora Black Pearl color
Solar Glass
White calipers (front and rear)

Kia Sonet

The lower trims (HTE, HTE (O), and HTK) of the Kia Sonet will now feature ISOFIX chil seats, anchor points and a wireless phone charger. Moreover, the HTK (O) variant gets a rear wiper and washer too.

the HTK+ variant of the Kia Sonet, which now comes equipped with LED headlamps, a rear wiper, and washer, and Isofix child seat anchorage points.

The HTX variant now offers a wireless mobile charger, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and a rear wiper, and washer.
