The Thar’s feature set include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment which features off-road stats, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, a multi-info display, keyless entry, cruise control, roof mounted speakers, manual AC, steering mounted audio controls, power windows and keyless entry.

Mahindra Thar Powertrain

The Mahindra Thar is offered with three engine options: a 118PS/300Nm 1.5-litre diesel, a 132PS/300Nm 2.2-litre diesel and a 150PS/320Nm 2.0-litre turbo petrol. The 1.5-litre diesel and 2-litre turbo-petrol can be had with the rear-wheel drive option as well, while the turbo-petrol and larger diesel engine are offered with optional four-wheel drive.

A 6-speed manual is offered as standard, however, the 6-speed torque converter automatic option is limited to the 2-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines.

Mahindra Thar Color Options

Mahindra Thar is available in 6 different colours – Everest White, Rage Red, Stealth Black, Deep Forest, Desert Fury and Deep Grey.
