Audi Q6 e-tron Spotted Testing in India Ahead of 2025 Launch
Audi has started testing the new Q6 e-tron in the country ahead of its launch.
The test car, which was completely uncamouflaged, was spotted on the outskirts of Mumbai. The electric SUV will debut in early 2025 or by the end of this year.
The Q6 e-tron is based on the VW Group’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform, similar to the existing Porsche Macan EV.

DESIGN ELEMENTS

Exterior
The test mule looks quite similar to the global model’s subtle design language.
The India-spec model gets minor visual differences, including a silver finish around the front and rear bumpers and a set of new distinct alloy wheels.
Some different elements of the new Q6 e-tron include matrix headlights, oled taillights, white grills, roof rails, and shark fin antennas.
Moreover, dimensions include a length of 4771 mm, a width of 1993 mm, a height of 1648 mm, and a wheelbase of 2899 mm, providing ample interior space.
Interior
The Audi Q6 e-tron’s cabin consists of three screens, which include a 10.9-inch front passenger screen. While the 11.9-inch instrument cluster is huge as it is, there’s a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system on board as well.
Powertrains
Globally, the Q6 e-tron is offered with a choice of powertrains, including a dual electric motor setup paired with a 100kWh battery pack that powers dual electric motors.
The Audi Q6 e-tron accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.9 seconds, delivering a robust power output of 382 bhp with a claimed range of 625 km on a single charge (WLTP cycle).
The 100kWh battery of the international model can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 21 minutes using a 270kW charger.
The India-bound Q6 e-tron is expected to be available in a rear-wheel-drive configuration, powered by an 83kWh battery pack.
Pricing
The expected price range for the Q6 e-tron in India is between Rs. 70 lakh and Rs. 80 lakh (ex-showroom).
The competitive pricing is likely to attract a wide range of buyers looking for premium electric SUVs.
