Luxury automaker Audi India is set to launch the Q6 e-tron in India by the end of 2024. Audi plans to assemble the Q6 e-tron in India, making the Q6 e-tron Audi’s first locally assembled EV.
The electric SUV will be imported via the CKD route, enabling Audi to price it competitively.
The Audi Q6 e-tron will be the brand’s third EV offering for India. The Q6 e-tron has been spotted testing in India.
Audi Q6 e-tron: Powertrain
Currently, the Q6 e-tron is offered with a 100kWh battery pack paired with dual electric motors, with a range of up to 625 km on a single full charge. Moreover, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 21 minutes via a 270kW charger.
The car can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 5.9 seconds.
Audi Q6 e-tron: Features
The 2024 Q6 e-tron is expected to come equipped with features such as matrix LED headlamps, OLED taillights, a curved screen setup on the dashboard, a third screen on the dash for the front passenger, four-spoke steering wheel, three-tone interior theme, wireless phone charger, and four USB charging ports for the front row.
Audi India assembles petrol models like the Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q7, A4, and A6 at its Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar site (formerly known as Aurangabad), a Maharashtra-based manufacturing plant.
