Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 cumulatively achieved 30,179 bookings on the first day of its official bookings.
Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6 — have collectively registered booking value of ₹8,472 crore (at ex-showroom price) on the first day of opening. The company secured 30,179 bookings for its eSUVs.
The booking split between the XEV 9e and BE 6 stands at 56% and 44%, respectively. The top-end Pack Three, featuring a 79-kWh battery, accounted for 73% of the total bookings across both brands.
Bookings for the BE 6 and XEV 9e are open across select Mahindra dealerships nationwide and on the official website (mahindraelectricsuv.com)
Deliveries will begin in latter part of March 2025, in the following phased schedule:
  • Pack Three: From Mid-March 2025
  • Pack Three Select: From June 2025
  • Pack Two: From July 2025
  • Pack One Above: From August 2025
  • Pack One: From August 2025
Notably, the electric car sales stood at 99,165 units in India in 2024, according to data from the industry body Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA). Their contribution to the overall car sales in 2024 was merely 2.4%.
Earlier, the Scorpio-N received over 1,00,000 bookings in 30 minutes in 2022. The XUV 3XO got over 50,000 bookings in 60 minutes in early 2024, while the Thar Roxx broke all records with 1,76,218 bookings in 60 minutes late last year.

Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e: Battery Pack and Range

The BE 6 and the XEV 9e are available in two battery pack options — 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The BE 6 is available in 5 variants and the smaller battery has a range of 557 km while the top trim returns 683 km based on MIDC.
