Hyundai Motor India is gearing up to launch the Alcazar facelift in the Indian market. The updated SUV will go on sale on September 9. The Hyundai Alcazar SUV has been on sale since 2021 and has not been updated ever since.
The refreshed Alcazar will boast a host of cosmetic upgrades and is likely to borrow design elements from the Creta facelift which was launched earlier this year.
The updated three-row SUV is expected to boast a Level 2 ADAS suite, twin 10.25-inch screens, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, electrically adjustable driver seat, and more.
Hyundai will not make any changes to the powertrain of the updated Alcazar. It will retain its 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel units. Both can produce the power of 157bhp/253Nm and 114bhp/253Nm, mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The pre-facelift Alcazar costs between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom), and the facelift is likely to be priced slightly higher.
