Hyundai Launches 2026 Ioniq 5 at ₹55.70 Lakh; Gets 84kWh Pack and Wireless Smartphone Tech

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift has been officially launched in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹55.70 lakh.

This updated version brings significant improvements in battery capacity and driving range, along with refined styling and new tech features.

Design & Interior

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 keeps its iconic, retro-futuristic Parametric Pixel design, but the new facelift adds a fresh layer of sophistication. On the outside, you’ll notice a sharper look thanks to redesigned front and rear bumpers and rugged new skid plates at both ends.

To give it a sportier stance, Hyundai has added a set of stylishly revised alloy wheels and a sleek new rear spoiler. Even the lighting gets a glow-up with an updated V-garnish element at the back, ensuring this electric SUV stands out day or night. It’s a perfect blend of that classic pixel-art aesthetic with modern, aerodynamic refinements.

Interior

On the inside, the Ioniq 5 features a newly styled 3-spoke leather steering wheel complete with a heating function and a signature 4-dot illuminated pixel design. This premium feel extends to the center fascia and the impressive dual-screen setup, which houses a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit alongside a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display.

Hyundai has also redesigned the wireless charging pad, intelligently integrating physical controls for the heated and ventilated seats for easier access. The tech suite gets a major boost with the new connected car navigation cockpit and Over-the-Air (OTA)update capabilities.

Connectivity is seamless thanks to wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
