Lamborghini Temerario India Launch Tommorow: What to Expect?

The Temerario continues Lamborghini’s hybrid journey, being the second plug-in hybrid from Sant’Agata Bolognese.

Lamborghini Temerario will be launched in India tommorow. The Huracan successor first broke cover at the Monterey Car Week and is now coming to India.

The Temerario was earlier revealed in August 2024, Positioned just below the larger Revuelto, the Temerario continues Lamborghini’s hybrid journey, being the second plug-in hybrid from Sant’Agata Bolognese.

Moreover, the Temerario replaces the naturally aspirated V10 of its predecessor with a twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors.

The Temerario features up to 13 drive modes, combining standard modes like Citta, Strada, Sport, and Corsa with plug-in hybrid-specific modes: Recharge, Hybrid, and Performance.

Engine & Performance

Powertrain: The Temerario features a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors.
Power Output: The combined power output of the V8 and electric motors is 907 bhp.

Battery Details: The hybrid system includes a 3.8 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack, positioned in the car’s central tunnel. It charges fully in 30 minutes using a 7 kilowatt (kW) AC charger and can also recharge via regenerative braking or directly from the V8 engine, supporting short electric-only driving ranges.

Speed Claims: Lamborghini claims the Temerario accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour (km/h) in just 2.7 seconds and achieves a top speed of 343 km/h.

Dedicated drift mode

For the first time, Lamborghini has introduced a dedicated drift mode, which offers three levels of control.

Expected Price

The Lamborghini Temerario is expected to be priced around Rs 7 crore.

Competitors

The Temerario will compete with the McLaren 750S and Ferrari 296 GTB.
