MG Windsor prices hiked by Up to Rs 50,000

MG Motor India has increased the prices of the Windsor EV, With the price revision, the MG Windsor EV now starts at Rs 13.99 lakh for the base Excite variant, Rs 14.99 lakh for the mid-level Exclusive trim, and Rs 15.99 lakh for the top-spec Essence variant (all prices ex-showroom).

MG Motor continues to offer subscription-based pricing for the battery under its “Battery as a Service” (BaaS) programme.

The BaaS model, which allows customers to subscribe to the battery separately at Rs 3.5 per kilometre, has also seen a price hike to Rs 3.9 per kilometre. The exact rate will depend on the financing options and subscription plans selected.

Moreover, the complimentary charging offer, which allowed early buyers to charge their vehicles for free via the MG e-hub app, has also been discontinued. This app, designed to integrate charging stations from multiple operators, was a key part of the introductory benefits offered to buyers who took delivery by December 31, 2024.

MG Windsor Battery pack & Range

The Windsor EV packs a 38 kWh battery that is said to deliver a range of 332 km. It powers an electric motor with an output of 134 BHP and 200 Nm.

The electric vehicle has four driving modes: Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport. It supports DC fast charging, which takes 40 minutes to charge the battery pack.

The Windsor comes in four color options- including Clay Beige, Pearl White, Starburst Black, and Turquoise Green.

MG Windsor Warranty

MG provides a lifetime warranty on the Windsor EV’s battery for the first owner. For subsequent owners, the warranty is valid for 8 years or 1,60,000 km, whichever comes first.
