New Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Debuts Starting at Rs 14.99 lakh.

Hyundai has launched the Alcazar seven-seater in India, priced at Rs 14.99 lakh onwards, ex-showroom.

The updated Alcazar gets a significantly revised exterior and interior design with lots of new features from the Creta. However, it remains unchanged mechanically. The Hyundai Alcazar SUV has been on sale since 2021. Bookings are open for a token amount of Rs 25,000.

The Alcazar is available in 6 and 7-seater configurations and four variants: Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature.

Hyundai Alcazar: Design

The new Alcazar is built on Hyundai’s Global Design Philosophy with Sensuous Sportiness. The overall design looks more muscular compared to the previous-gen Alcazar.

On the front, the Alcazar gets H-shaped DRLs with vertically stacked headlights, along with vertical tail lamps, that are connected with a light bar. The silhouette remains the same as before, and the one big change on the profile is the new design for the alloy wheels.

The new Alcazar also receives roof rails and new dual-tone alloy wheels. Towards the rear, it gets vertically stacked tail lights and an LED light bar along with a number plate recess. It also sees a new rear spoiler and high-mounted stop lamp.

Hyundai Alcazar: Color options

The Alcazar facelift can be had in 9 color options, including Robust Emerald Matter (new), Robust Emerald, Titan Grey Matte, Starry Night, Ranger Khakhi, Fiery Red, Abyss Black, and Atlas White. The Atlas White is also available in a dual-tone shade, which comes with a black roof.

Hyundai Alcazar: Interior

Inside, you get dual 10.25-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and the touchscreen infotainment system. The SUV is also equipped with dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a Bose 8-speaker sound system, rain-sensing wipers, and a wireless charger in the 1st and 2nd rows.

Hyundai Alcazar: Powertrain

The Alcazar facelift is available with 1.5-liter turbo-petrol and diesel engines. The former makes 158 BHP and 253 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT. The 1.5-liter diesel unit puts out 114 BHP and 250 Nm and is offered with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.

Hyundai Alcazar: Safety

Safety features on the Hyundai Alcazar include six airbags, hill descent control, hill start assist, three traction modes (snow, mud, and sand), electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, and all four disc brakes. The Alcazar facelift also comes with Level 2 ADAS, which includes features like a blind spot view monitor, a 360-degree camera, forward collision warning and avoidance, lane keep assist, driver attention warning, and more.
