Renault Kwid, Kiger & Triber, now available with CNG Option in India

Renault India has introduced the CNG versions of its Kwid, Kiger and Triber. The French automaker is offering the CNG option with all its three cars as a retrofitment and a three-year warranty.

The CNG kit for Triber and Kiger is priced at Rs 79,500 and Re 75,000 for Kwid.

The CNG retrofitment kit will be made available in a phased manner with sales starting in five key states of Haryana, UP, Delhi, Gujarat & Maharashtra, contributing 65% of the market and subsequently cover 100% in the coming months.

The CNG kits will be installed through authorised vendors using homologated equipment that meets safety and performance standards.

Notably, The kits will not be available for automatic or turbo variants. Only the manual variants can be had with CNG.

Moreover, Renault recently launched the updated versions of the Triber and Kiger in India. The changes on the MY25 models are mostly limited to a few feature additions.
