
P B Balaji Named First Indian CEO Of Jaguar Land Rover By Tata Group
Jaguar Land Rover has appointed P B Balaji as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking the first time an Indian will lead the iconic British luxury carmaker. The announcement followed approval by the company’s Board of Directors on August 4, 2025. Balaji will take over the role in November 2025 succeeding Adrian Mardell, who is retiring after a long 35 year tenure with JLR, including three years as CEO. Mardell will stay on for a transition period to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.
