Tata Curvv EV Launched at Rs 17.49 Lakh
Tata Motors has launched the Curvv.ev SUV Coupe in the Indian market, with prices starting at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Curvv was one of the most anticipated models of 2024, bookings for the coupe SUV will start on 12 August, 2024.
Tata’s electric SUV-coupe comes with two battery pack options, having an ARAI-rated claimed range of up to 585 km.

Tata Curvv EV Exterior


Tata Curvv features a bold front end with a split headlamp setup and an LED light bar, a stylish coupe-like roofline and an upright rear fascia with a continuous LED taillight. The Curvv sports a closed off sloping roofline, 18-inch alloy wheels (shod in 215/55 tryes), flush door handles and piano black elements on its wheel arches. Its sporty appeal is further enhanced with a shark fin antenna, roof mounted spoiler, and silver skid plate while it rides on aerodynamically designed alloy wheels.
Tata Curvv EV Dimensions, Ground Clearance and Boot Space
The 2024 Tata Curvv EV boasts a length of 4330mm, width of 1810mm, height of 1630mm, and a wheelbase of 2560mm. The electric coupe SUV offers a ground clearance of 190mm, a 500 litre boot and a 11.6 litre frunk.

On the inside we get a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a 9-speaker system from ADAS, a wireless charger, panoramic sunroof, 6-way powered driver seats, electric tailgate with handsfree function, 9 speaker JBL sound system, arcade.ev, 2-step rear seat recline.
Tata Curvv EV Powertrain
The Curvv EV offers two battery pack options: a 45 kWh pack and a 55 kWh pack.
Additionally, an acti.ev platform underpins the Curvv EV and the new generation of battery packs have been designed to support ultra-fast charging.
The Curvv EV 55 sprints from 0-100kph in a claimed 8.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 160kph, while the 45kWh model has a claimed 0-100kph time of 9 seconds. Tata says the battery can get up to 150km of charge in just 15 minutes, and 10-80 percent charge in 40 minutes using a 70kW charger.
Moreover, the Curvv EV includes both vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-vehicle functionality (via the iRA app) enhancing its versatility.
The Curvv offers drive modes such as: Eco, City, and Sport.
Tata Curvv EV Safety
The Safety features of the Curvv EV include six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), all-wheel disc brakes, and acoustic alerts for pedestrian safety. The vehicle is also equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The level-2 ADAS suite offers 20+ advanced features including collision warning, blind spot detection, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control among others!
