Tata Curvv ICE Unveiled: Launch Set for 2 September

Tata motors have unveiled the production-spec version of the Tata Curvv internal combustion engine (ICE). The Curvv ICE will be based on a new adaptive tech-forward lifestyle architecture (ATLAS) platform developed by Tata. The ATLAS architecture supports multiple powertrains, and offers superior comfort and performance.

The prices of the Curvv with internal combustion engines have not been revealed and it will be announced on 2 September.

Upon launch, the Curvv ICE is expected to be offered in five variants – Smart, Smart Plus, Pure, Creative, and Creative +.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., said, “Today, marks an important milestone in our SUV journey with our foray into the fast-growing mid SUV segment. We are very proud to launch our most innovative SUV yet with a new typology – India’s very first SUV Coupe. With the Curvv, we are pushing further the boundaries of design, safety and technology. The Curvv also takes forward our established strategy of offering choice to discerning customers with its multiple powertrain offerings in EV, Petrol and Diesel.

Tata Curvv ICE Exterior:

The Tata Curvv ICE offers split headlamps, LED DRLs, LED headlights, LED light bars at the front and rear, flush-fitting door handles, dual-tone alloy wheels, LED taillights, and a sloping roofline. Coming to the rear profile, it includes a connected tail light setup, a spoiler, a tall bootlid, and a shark-fin antenna. The boot gate has chrome finished ‘Curvv’ branding, and the rear bumper features a faux skid plate with silver finish on it

Tata Curvv ICE Powertrain:

The Tata Curvv will be available with three powertrain options – 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, 1.5-litre diesel, and a new 1.2-litre GDi turbo-petrol engine. The gearbox options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT (DCA in Tata speak). The Curvv will also be the first offering in its segment to pack a DCT with a diesel engine.

Tata Curvv ICE Interior:

On the inside, the coupe SUV boasts a 12.3-inch touchscreen system, fully digital instrument cluster,dashboard of the Curvv ICE is finished in dual-tone burgundy colour theme. Additionally, we get rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, two-step recliner rear seats with 60:40 split functionality, a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, and a 360-degree surround-view system, a panoramic sunroof, 9-speaker JBL-tuned sound system,wireless phone charging and many more.

Tata Curvv ICE Colour options:

The Curvv ICE will be available in six monotone colour options: Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red, Opera Blue, Pure Grey, and Gold Essence.
