Volkswagen recently introduced a new version of its Virtus sedan, the GT Line, equipped with a 1.0-liter TSI engine, marking the first time Volkswagen offered its GT badge on a smaller engine variant, making it more accessible.
The Virtus GT line is priced at Rs 14.07 lakh (ex-showroom); the new variant brings a sporty aesthetic along with several interior and exterior upgrades.
The Volkswagen Virtus boasts a 5-star rating in Global NCAP’s updated crash tests, making it one of India’s safest sedans for both adult and child occupants.

The front profile employs various blackened components such as the LED headlights, front grill, outside rear-view mirrors, and a black design strip which enhances its stealthy appearance.

In profile, the Virtus GT line gets blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels and black coloured ORVMs adding to the sporty look. You get a “GT Line” badging on the front door instead of the red GT badging on the grille. The door handles are also covered in a dark chrome hue.
Volkswagen Virtus GT Line: Rear profile
Coming to the rear, Volkswagen has given the tail lights the same smoked effect as the headlights, while the Virtus lettering is finished in the same black shade. Additionally, we also get the ‘GT Line’ moniker on the tailgate which also comes in the black finish.
Volkswagen Virtus GT Line: Interior
On the inside, Virtus GT Line gets a black interior theme, matching the overall aesthetics. Gloss black dashboard, red ambient lights and sporty aluminium pedals further add a sporty touch.
Other cosmetic highlights include aluminium pedals, a gloss black dashboard, and an all-black treatment on the headliner, sun visors, grab handles, and door trim.
