The latest update includes uprated power and torque output, new features, and an updated exterior design.
The exterior updates of the 2025 M2 are subtle. It retains its aggressive styling with some minor tweaks. The M2 now has black ‘M2’ badges at the front and rear with silver surrounds and black quad exhaust pipes. Buyers can choose between a sunroof or a carbon roof and also an optional tint for the headlamps. It rides on M light-alloy wheels with 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear and M Sport brake callipers.
On the inside, the major update on the new M2 is its steering wheel. It now features a flat-bottom design and is available with the option of Alcantara leather. The AC vent layout is redesigned. You can also pick M carbon bucket seats and M carbon fiber interior stripes. Moreover, it offers the latest OS8.5 system powering the touchscreen infotainment unit.
The new BMW M2 is available in the following non-metallic paintworks: Alpine White and M Zandvoort Blue, and in the following metallic paintworks: Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Fire Red, Portimao Blue, Sao Paulo Yellow, and Skyscraper Grey.
The new BMW M2 sports a 3.0-liter turbocharged motor paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox and an optional six-speed manual gearbox. With this update, the M2 is even more powerful, with 486 bhp and 600 Nm of torque on the spec sheet and a 0-100 kmph acceleration speed of under 4 seconds.
Safety features of the BMW M2 include six airbags, Dynamic Stability Control, Anti-lock Braking System, Automatic Stability Control, M Dynamic Mode, and Cornering Brake Control.
