Mahindra is offering bumper discounts on the 3-door Thar.
The starting price of Mahindra Thar is Rs 12 lakh 99 thousand, which goes up to Rs 20 lakh 49 thousand. Now Mahindra Thar is offering a great discount of Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand. This discount is being given on all 2WD and 4WD petrol and diesel variants.
Mahindra is offering up to Rs 1.5 lakh on both the petrol and diesel variants — LX P automatic and LX D manual. The ex-showroom of the former trim is Rs 14.10 lakh and Rs 12.85 lakh, respectively. The entry-level AX OPT D MT 2WD gets rebates up to Rs 1.36 lakh. Thar LX 4WD lineup receives a discount of up to Rs 1.5 lakh, including the petrol and the diesel in both manual and automatic transmission.
The Mahindra Thar is available with three engine options. These include a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol producing 150 BHP and 300 Nm (320 Nm with AT), a 1.5-liter diesel that makes 117 BHP and 300 Nm, and a 2.2-liter diesel that puts out 130 BHP and 300 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic.
