Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi will showcase its first car in India, while Xiaomi has not revealed its strategy for launching the car here.
In China, the Xiaomi SU7 directly rivals the Tesla Model 3. It is approximately $4,000 (Rs 3.3 lakh) cheaper than Tesla’s Model 3 base model in China. The EV has bagged more than 100,000 orders since it was sold out within the first 24 hours.
The Xiaomi SU7 comes in two battery pack options: The entry-level version gets a 73.6 kWh battery with a 535 km range, while the top-of-the-line version boasts a 101 kWh battery with a claimed range of 800 km.
