Hyundai has unveiled its latest subcompact EV offering. The Inster name is inspired by the words ‘Innovate’ and ‘Intimate.
The Hyundai Inster is an electric version of the Casper ICE vehicle that is sold in a few markets internationally.
It offers a modern look with a quirky design. The Inster will be based on the affordable E-GMP (K) platform.
The subcompact EV offers 97 hp and 115 hp, with both making 147 Nm of torque. Two NMC batteries packs, a standard 42 kWh and a long-range 49 kWh, are available with WLTP claimed ranges of 300 km and 355 km.
