Kia Syros receives over 20,000 bookings within 2 months, petrol Variants accounts for 67 percent of bookings

Kia Syros has bagged over 20,000 bookings since its bookings commencement. This surge in demand highlights Kia's strong position in the competitive sub-compact SUV market.

The pre-booking for the Syros began on January 3, 2025, and the SUV was officially launched on February 1, 2025, at an attractive price range of INR 8.99 lakh to INR 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

An optional advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) package is available at an additional cost of INR 80,000 on the top trim.

DescriptionThe Kia Syros has been available for bookings for almost two months now. In January 2025 alone, Kia recorded dispatches of 5,546 units.

Fuel Preferences

The Kia Syros petrol accounts for over 67% of the total booking whereas the diesel engine accounts for the remaining 33% of bookings.

Color Preferences

The premium appeal of the Syros is evident in the booking preferences, with 46% of buyers inclined towards owning the top variants. Glacier White Pearl emerged as the most preferred color with 32% bookings followed by Aurora Black Pearl and Frost Blue with 26% and 20% respectively.

The Kia Syros comes in 8 monotone color choices: Frost Blue, Sparkling Silver, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Intense Red, Pewter Olive, Glacier White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl.

Kia Syros Powertrain

The Kia Syros SUV comes with two engine options:

A 1-litre turbo petrol engine that churns out 120 PS and 172 Nm, mated with a 6-speed manual transmission (MT) or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
A 1.5-litre diesel engine with an output of 116 PS and 250 Nm, paired with 6-speed MT or 6-speed AT.

Kia Syros Features

The vehicle features a ‘Trinity’ display that comprises a 12.3-inch driver’s display, 5-inch screen for the climate control and a 12.3-inch touchscreen.
The touchscreen supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and is paired with a crisp sounding 8-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system.
Other highlight features: panoramic sunroof, configurable ambient lighting, wireless charging, electric parking brake, air purifier and voice commands.
