Mahindra Thar Roxx Teased Again Ahead of its Debut on August 15
In the latest teaser, shared by the profile of the five-door Thar is visible with many exterior elements. The Mahindra Thar ROXX include a body-colored slatted grille, with round-shaped LED headlights with C-motif LED daytime running lights, round fog lamps and newly styled multi-spoke alloy wheels. It gets C-shaped LED tail-lights, and a tailgate mounted spare wheel.
Mahindra Thar ROXX will offer bigger infotainment system with all-digital instrument cluster and an auto-dimming IRVM. Thar Roxx will also offer features such as electrically adjustable and ventilated front seats, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, reading lamps for rear passengers.
Mahindra is expected to improve its safety and offer six airbags with the new Thar 5-door as a standard feature. the Indian auto maker is also expected to equip the new 5-door Thar with Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The ADAS suite will include Smart Pilot Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, Traffic Sign Recognition etc.
The new Thar Roxx is expected to be offered in 3 engine options – a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel, a 2.2L turbo diesel and a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol. The entry-level variants will get the 1.5L petrol engine with rear-wheel-drive setup. This engine produces 117bhp and 300Nm of torque.
