Mahindra Thar Roxx Unveiled, Launch Set for 15 August
Mahindra will launch its much-awaited car, the five-door Thar vehicle, called ‘Thar ROXX’, on August 15. The teaser of the Mahindra Thar Roxx has been shared on YouTube by Mahindra Thar’s official channel.
The Mahindra Thar ROXX will get a handful of design changes over the Thar 3-door with more premium and upmarket look.
The 5-door Thar gets a redesigned grille, new LED headlights and tail lamps. The Thar Roxx rides on 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Inside, Thar Roxx will offer 10.25-inch touchscreen with a 9-speaker Harman-Kardon audio system, a digital instrument cluster, and an auto-dimming IRVM.
The Higher variants of the 5-door Thar will include Level 2 ADAS.
The current generation Thar made its debut on the same date four years ago.
Veejay Nakra, President, Automotive Sector, M&M Ltd., stated, “the ‘Thar ROXX’ with its distinctive design, premium quotient, advanced technology, enhanced performance, sophistication, and safety is ‘the’ SUV. While retaining the core attributes of the iconic Thar, the ‘Thar ROXX’ represents the larger-than-life personality of a rockstar and will disrupt the SUV category.” Thar ROXX is expected to have more features than the existing three-door off-road version.
