Mercedes-Benz has launched the new AMG G63 facelift in India, starting at Rs 3.60 crore (ex-showroom, India).
The updated G 63 gets some minor cosmetic updates over the outgoing model, along with packing in some new features.
Notably, the first 120 units of the G63 have already been booked, while bookings for Q3 2025 reopen today for the interested buyers, with deliveries expected in Q3 2025.
2024 Mercedes-AMG G63: Exterior
In terms of design, the 2025 G 63 gets minor cosmetic updates; the A-pillars have been slightly rounded off. Additionally, it gets a redesigned bumper with three vertical slats in front of the air inlets and a new AMG logo on the hood.
At the rear, the AMG G63 gets an optional carbon fiber-finished spare wheel cover. The new AMG G 63 can be had with 29 exterior paint schemes with over 31 upholstery options.

DescriptionOn the inside, the SUV comes loaded with a large 12.3-inch driver’s display and an infotainment system that runs on the latest MBUX NTG7 software. The interior is done up in nappa leather with high-quality materials with customizable ambient lighting. You can also choose from the 31 MANUFAKTUR upholstery options to customize the interiors. Additionally, it offers Burmester-sourced 18 speakers with 3D surround system, ADAS, 360-degree camera, and an augment reality-based navigation system.
Key upgrades include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, offering seamless connectivity for users. The updated model also boasts temperature-controlled cup holders, a wireless mobile charger, and a new three-spoke AMG performance steering wheel.
2024 Mercedes-AMG G63: Powertrain
The all-new AMG G 63 is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo engine supported by 48V mild hybrid technology. This powerhouse produces 576 hp and 850 Nm of torque, with an additional 20 hp boost available during acceleration. The SUV also features, for the first time, Launch Control, which has been introduced to this model, enhancing its dynamic acceleration capabilities. the new “Race Start” function, allowing a 0-100 kmph time of just 4.3 seconds while top speed is still electronically limited to 240 kmph. Moreover, the suspension too has been revised with new adaptive dampers and a hydraulics-based roll stabilization system to help flatten the ride.
