Nissan has achieved a significant milestone in India, surpassing the milestone of 1.1 million units exported since the start of their operations.
The milestone was achieved on June 29th, 2024, at the Ennore Kamarajar Port in Tamil Nadu.
The achievement strengthens Nissan’s commitment to its ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ Nissan Motor India has increased Nissan’s network to 272 touchpoints, enhancing sales and service experiences nationwide.
Magnite is now exported to 15 global markets; in recent years, it has primarily focused on Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain.
The compact SUV has gained popularity in countries such as Indonesia, South Africa, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Uganda.
The Magnite has played a key role in Nissan’s export success. Since its launch in December 2020, the Magnite has sold over 140,000 units, both domestically and internationally, solidifying its position as a popular choice in its segment.
Notably, the Magnite is Nissan’s only offering in India.
It is available in two engine options to choose from: a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder petrol engine with 72 hp, and a turbocharged variant delivering 100 hp.
