Hyundai India has launched the Exter Knight Edition in the country, celebrating the first anniversary of the Hyundai Exter. The Exter gets some cosmetic changes, both exterior and interior.
Hyundai India has sold over 93,000 units since its launch on July 10, 2024.
The Hyundai Exter Knight is based on the SX and SX (O) Connect trims. The Knight edition is around ₹15,000 more expensive than the regular trim lines.
Exterior
The Hyundai Exter Knight edition features a striking black theme and distinctive red accents on the front bumper, black painted side-sill garnish, rear tailgate. The brake callipers are painted red to ensure sporty appearance. All-black 15-inch alloy wheels. Even the lettering and logos on the tailgate showcase a black paint scheme.
The Hyundai Exter Knight is offered in five monotone and two dual-tone color options, including Starry Night, Atlas White, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black (new), Shadow Grey (new), Ranger Khaki with Abyss Black roof and Shadow Grey with Abyss Black roof (new).
Interior
On the inside, it gets The Exter Knight Edition will offer a sleek and sophisticated interior design, an all-black theme. The cabin is finished in black with red accents and stitching, footwell lighting, and air-convents, metal scuff plates, a floor mat with red stitching, and special ‘Knight’-themed seat upholstery.
Powertrain
Mechanically, the Hyundai Exter Knight edition remains unchanged.
The Hyundai Exter is equipped with a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 83 BHP and 114 Nm. The engine is mated with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT.
The Hyundai Exter is also offered in a CNG version. It comes with a manual transmission as standard.
